Re Steering Wobbles. - X.457

[Addressed to: Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} (Mr. HALDENBY)]
18-7-13.
You stated in your weekly report dated 2/7/13 that you fitted up the plain thrust bearing to the column of a car and would have same running in a day or so.
You will remember that Mr Royce urged this 2/6/13 and we shall be glad therefore to have your report as early as possible.
p. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}

[Handwritten Response from Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}]
The flywheel burst on this car as soon as it was ready for trial and is now being repaired. It will be about a week before ready for running again.
Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}
