...y bumped another
crinkled tube 20" ball well underneath radiator. This
has given rather poor results as it leaked in several places
near both bottom corners after running 2 hrs 30 mins. on
2" alternate bumps at 105 revs. per min.

We are now having another radiator fitted up with
the rough experimental type of support underneath so as to
repeat this test. This radiator will be a 23" one and is
one which was tried on the Austrian trials cars.

Re your enquiry as to whether any of the ball underneath
type radiators have failed on the road, I have not heard
of any going wrong but one cannot judge anything by this
as the first few of them cannot have been delivered more than
a month or so, also I understand that most of them are of
the square honeycomb type.
