With reference to Sr/VA.7/ET.4.5.39., did you fit 'L' section rings to this engine when you fitted the pistons to EB.3151? If you did not, we are not surprised that the oil consumption has taken a little time to settle down. We should not suggest blocking up the oil hole in the connecting rod.
