PHANTOM SPORTS CAR.

We have heard from Sales that the sports car 16-EX - which is the one fitted with the Barker body, has been sold.

We are arranging to send to Sales 17-EX car - which is the one fitted with the Jarvis sports body as they say they have a good opportunity of selling it for shipment to India.

The third sports car 15-EX which was smashed up was never rebuilt as a sports car so that we have no example of this type of car left.

Our own personal opinion is that it is a great pity because the sports cars have been admired more than any other RR. car we have made, and a certain class of customer, who would not ordinarily look at a RR. car, have been quite enthusiastic.

We are certain there is [strikethrough by 'xxx']no[/strikethrough] other car in the world which can approach these cars as fast touring cars and yet still retain all the RR. qualities for silence and flexibility.
