As stated in my previous letter, it is very difficult to guarantee that the 6.50x19 tyres will last seventeen laps of the Ulster Course, but it is the only reasonable tyre for the car and conditions in question. However, I note, and Mr.Hall tells me you hope to complete seventeen laps during practice, and we can then see exactly how they stand. Regarding your paragraph relative to France. Our experience of racing over there with a similar car and similar tyres is that we can do 24 hours without a change. The fifteen wheels ordered will be ready during next week.
