The steering is not quite irreversible.
The Car generally runs very nicely as regards the engine power and smoothness. It accelerates very well and is fast. The hill climbing is good and the car will hang on to top gear at quite slow speeds. The engine starts remarkably easily by the self starter, even from stone cold and without flooding or priming. More observations on the general behaviour on the road can be made when the car has been run some distance, as at present it has been run very little. When it is driven down to St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Margaret's Bay a report can be made as to its running qualities. Everything about the car is typically American with its sheet metal work and block enamel. It is not at all in the same class as our own product, but at the same time is interesting, particularly as regards the running of the engine.
