HEAD LAMPS & FITTINGS, SPOT LAMP.

The head lamps show a very good beam of light for night driving. The o/s lamp bracket was found to be loose and could not be tightened up. The fitting is such that if the base of the standard is not the width of the frame, the side plates will not give sufficient to make up the deficiency. We had to fit a packing piece behind the plates to enable the base to be nipped up. The spot lamp glass was broken early on by some object on the road. A new glass fitted has again been broken. It looks as if the low position of the lamp makes some protection necessary for continental driving.
