TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to BJ. " WC. " DV. ORIGINAL RECEIVED Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} NOV 18 1926 R4/M16.11.26. PHANTOM. X8770 X8430 X8410 The riding, and steering, qualities can be improved by reducing the weight on the front wheels as follows - (1)..... Short chassis preferred. (2)..... Spare wheel at rear. (3)..... Battery in frame. (4)..... Lighter engine, clutch, flywheel, radiator, and bonnet. The steering should be the slowest possible. This is better than an increase of BHP., but we should like both.
