XH586 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY12/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 18.1.27. I have done by best to get the artillery wheel question settled out of hand, apart from any question of bumping or road test. I cannot get any settlement on the matter unless a set of the wheels in question are put on the bumper, although I have again written emphasizing the fact that in my opinion there is no benefit to be gained by either bumping or road testing, but of course, obviously, on the other hand, they see no reason why we should not do some bumping, as the bumping would not create trouble. The 20 HP. wheels are available. Is it possible for you to get the bumper running, and do as they say? BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RECEIVED JAN 18 1927 Original of C3/C.17.1.27. attached. | ||
