Messrs. Peto & Radford,
50, Grosvenor Gardens,
LONDON, S.W.1.

For the attention of Mr. G.R.N.Minchin.

Dear Sirs,

Answering yours M/5. of the 9th inst. the matter of this battery has been taken up with the customer and it appears likely that the battery some way or other became damaged at the Coachbuilders. As this battery left the coachbuilders' hands in April last, we feel sure we should get little satisfaction from them in placing the matter before them.

It transpires that we had already agreed to replace the battery free of charge to the customer and note that in these circumstances you are prepared to repair it for us free of charge, which offer we are pleased to accept.

When you return this battery, will you please have it addressed for the attention of Repair Dept., who desire to use it as a replacement battery.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
