To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to C.J. " " HOR. " " HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} " " SY. " " EPE. X4244 RE "GOSHAWK II" - CLUTCH. With reference to the clutch for "Goshawk II", we believe that an error has arisen that the pressure plate was to be made of wrought steel drop forging instead of a casting of iron, semi-steel, brass, bronze, or aluminium-bronze, using the least costly material which is found to give satisfaction.
