14462 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}19/KW. 27th December, 1934. The Earl of Rothes, The India Tyre & Rubber Co.Ltd., Mileage Dept., (Area "B"), 80, Clapham Road, London, S.W.9. Dear Rothes, Thank you so much for your letter of December 20th, which I have passed on to Mr. Hawkins; I am sure he will be very grateful for your assistance. With regard to my father-in-law, I have told him that you have very kindly offered to take him down to Park Wards should you be available when his body is under construction, so that he can have the driving seat made the right shape. I have given him your address and telephone number in case he wants to call you up directly. He is very interested in an Owner-driver's Saloon 20/25, and I told him that while he was at Park Ward's you might have one or two of these under construction which you could show him, and furthermore would probably know where other similar cars could be seen at different London Coachbuilders. I anticipate that his Bentley chassis will not arrive at Park Wards until next month. Yours sincerely, | ||
