-2- Later, on January 6th 1938, Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} addressed a memo to N. saying it had been necessary to extend the Depot Sheet instruction to cover 100 cars of the BT{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer} series. It seems that the 'E' type cooler dip - soldered, which on Production has been replaced by the "F" type cooler, cannot be relied on and what is required is an instruction to change to "F" type whenever a car comes in to a depot and not only when there is a complaint or failure.
