The average current taken by the primaries of the coils at 12 volts when hot was as follows :-

TR.{Capt. F. W. Turner - Finance}1 1.15 amperes.
TR.{Capt. F. W. Turner - Finance}6 1.115 "
TR.{Capt. F. W. Turner - Finance}5 1.15 "
4383 1.26 "

It will be seen that the redmanol encased coils in th both cases gave better results than the stabalite at all four temperatures 77°, 82°, 87° and 100°C, and it is suggested that they should be given further thrashing tests on a chassis in a thoroughly hot condition.
