-2- fairly convinced that this steering wobble will prove to be the chief contributory cause of any future troubles here with fractured pivots, cross members or side members or perhaps loose dumb irons. It seems to me quite possible too that it might set up slack in the two bolts which fasten the steering wheel to the column and eventually weaken them to a dangerous point or shear them, Yours faithfully, (signed) B.A.Peat. | ||
