PHANTOM II BONNET LOCKS.

With reference to the correspondence on this subject we would point out that when we designed the new type of bonnet catch which did not necessitate that the last portion of the motion of shutting the bonnet should be strictly vertical and we deleted the little spring clips, we reaslised that the original type of bonnet lock would be unsatisfactory, and we designed a suitable lock for use on this new type of bonnet. It was our intention that this should be fitted to Phantom 2.
We should be glad if Derby would say :-
(1) Why this lock was not standardised.
(2) What are the objections, if any.
