Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} X7260 HsS/AD30.1T.29. PHANTOM II BONNET LOCKS. A new type bonnet lock mentioned by DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M26.11.29. is fitted to 10-EX car which is at present being used by Lp.{Mr Lappin} in London. We do not know of all the difficulties with the present lock, we should be glad therefore if JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} would take the opportunity to examine the locks on 10-EX car, and confirm that if we adopt that lock the present troubles will be overcome. In the meantime we are fitting up the Phantom II with this type of lock as 10-EX is a Phantom I car. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
