Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. For the kind attention of Mr. J.C.Bowering. Dear Sirs, Stevenson Jacking System for Bentley Car. We thank you for your letter of the 4th inst. and note that owing to pressure of work it is not convenient for us to carry out the fitting of the experimental system at the present time, but that you will have this work done if we send the set along, and we are arranging for this to be done immediately. Either with this letter or under separate cover to-morrow we will send a Blue Print giving details of fitting. We will also send alternative size Jacks so that you can see which is the more suitable for your requirements. We should like to make it clear that the Cross Member we are sending is only a rough job to enable you to test the operation of the System, as, of course, on standard equipment this would be in the form of Abutments built into the chassis construction. We thank you for offering to give us an opportunity of seeing this System when fitted. Yours faithfully, p.p. THE BRITISH TOOL & ENGINEERING CO.LTD. Wallen. b. Evans. Director. | ||
