General.

Re: Bentley 2 Side Wheel Carrier.

(1). It was explained that the larger tyres only made a slight modification to the side wheel carrier of B.2, and that the part affected was the step bracket.
A print of the modification to be sent to Mr. Finney by Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}

Re: Door Lock.

(2). No matter what form of door lock we may ultimately desire to adopt as the result of tests now in progress, this lock will have to be so arranged that the outside handle may be in the centre of the waist moulding, and the lock must have a double striking plate or its equivalent.

(3). Re Wraith Petrol Tank.

It was reported that six Wraith lll petrol tanks have been completed and 24 are partly built up.
There would be no difficulty in using these tanks with the vent pipe in the original position, and they should not be altered. The modified position of the vent pipe will be introduced subsequently.

(4). Wraith lll Step Brackets.

Owing to the state of production of the step brackets and the tools involved (see Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}26/G.11.5.38) it was agreed that the modifications proposed by Mr. Finney be set out and introduced but not introduced until it was is economically satisfactory to do so.

Wraith lll, lst. Body Bracket aft of dash.

It was requested by Mr. Finney that we cut off .350 from the outer end of this bracket - PW. drawing F.S.D.O.206, and it was agreed to make an investigation to see if this could be done.
