Demonstration SPITTING IN SILENCER -------------------- Mr.Arnold is not satisfied with this car inasmuch as he can reproduce the above trouble under certain conditions of driving, which he stoutly maintains should not be the case on a Rolls-Royce car. We sent one of our testers along and are satisfied that he has made the best possible job under the circumstances and it is now up to 'standard'. Mr.Arnold has put it on record that he considers the possibility of this occurring should be entirely eliminated. It must be realised that Mr.Arnold is used to driving Sports type cars. Although he assures us that the fault still exists even when running when luffing up with the throttle completely closed, our tester assures us that this is not the case. Are we in a position to offer him anything better? EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} | ||
