To (WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}2 contd) Order No. Customer's No. 98033 one of the Watfords No 98033 was equally as good as one of the B.T.H. magneto recently tested. The B.T.H. gives a better leaky gap performance and an inspection of the D.C. volt and S.C. ampere-speed curves (attached to this report) rather confirms this, the Watford S.C. amperes being much lower for a given speed than the B.T.H, and they do not rise to their approx. final value so rapidly as the B.T.H. This we suggest could be remedied by rearranging the primary winding of the Watford magneto, which from the D.C. volt-speed curve probably consists of a relatively Signed (contd) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
