Dear Sirs, We have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 17th.inst., and in this regard would refer to the visit of the writer to your Works on Wednesday last the 19th.inst., and would confirm having handed to you one 10.A6 cover assembly recently returned to us - and which has been re-built with eyebolts made from S.82 material. We are pleased to hear that the tests you are carrying out on our model 11" clutch fitted with S.82 eyebolts have so far proved successful, and we shall look forward to your further comments in regard to this particular test in due course. In connection with the proposed scheme for the ventilated type clutch housing, we trust that drawing left with you will be of assistance, and it is understood that you will submit to us modified arrangements after you have had an opportunity of preparing the suitable designs on the lines which we discussed.
