R.R. 295a (150 H) (V.{VIENNA} V.{VIENNA} 681 12-3-14) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 0414. -2- The other change is in the method of preventing the liquid passing through the hole in the fixed shutter on the recoil of the Car Springs; as shown in the diagrams, this is done by the blocking of this hole on the reverse side by a piece of thin steel spring, but there was a pro-bability - although it is very true very rare - of this spring not being effective. This steel spring has now been done away with and a ball prevents the liquid passing on the recoil of the Car Springs. I may add that the working parts are made of a specially treated steel having a resistance of 70 Kilos to the square centimeter. If of any interest to you, I would send you down a section, if you could let me have it back again within 24 hours. Awaiting your reply, Yours faithfully, THE HOUDAILLE HYDRAULIC SUSPENSION COMPANY.
