-2- the piston has been screwed in a quarter of an inch. This is sufficient for each axle, and should be repeated at the recommended intervals of every 500 miles, or once a week. The operation of charging the axles may occupy a minute or so, and may require a little force, but a few pauses will enable the oil to get through the pipes a little and relieve the pressure.
