To Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} X8796 EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 3/T16.11.26. X.8796. WATFORD EO6 MAGNETOS. Answering your Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 4/NJ15.11.26, the experiments referred to are specifically in connection with EO6 sleeve type machines. We have had the special magneto fittings ready for these experiments for some time, but as the experiments themselves involve some amount of careful consecutive work, we have not been able so far to complete these, owing to pressure of other jobs. At the same time we had suggested to them some considerable time back that they should produce a 6-cylinder magneto without a sleeve with timing on the lines of my notes referred to, and we understood that they would have been considering the matter and possibly doing something in this direction, though apparently such has not been the case so far.
