To EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Hm. {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} c. to EY. X4400 "ENOTS" LUBRICATORS. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 2/LG27.6.22. In future we recommend that we should always use thick oil in connection with the Enots Lubricators and grease gun. We find that in order to obtain satisfactory results from grease, it is necessary to use a very thin grease. If the correct grease is not used, the parts are not properly lubricated. When we use oil, there is then no reason why we should not use an Enots Lubricator for - steering box, column, universal joint and torque tube. We have lately been lubricating experimental cars with oil and find we get better results. We assume EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} will notify the various Depots.
