WOODEN PLUGS FOR BRAKE SHAFTS. x 7420 G.76241/2/3/4. We send you herewith wooden plugs for the side by side brake drums rear axle. These plugs have proved themselves satisfactory on 12-EX. The main point to be watched is that the limit on the length of the bore drilled in the shaft should not be too great, for upon this the plug is located. Also that when the plugs have been driven home a depth gauge should be used in the end of the shaft to ensure that the plug has reached the correct position. Additionally we recommend that the standard position of the lubricator should be on the top shaft as on 12-sx. Depth of bore x should be fixed to locate plug end Y. Depth gauge should be used d after inserting plug to make sure that X-X lies in line with the lubricating hole. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
