Re Chassis Weights. x200

Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 18-11-13.

The following are the weights of chassis of the more recent series.

2000 series. 3060 to 3090 lbs.
2100 & 2200 series. 3090 to 3115 "
2300 to 2600 series. 3100 to 3130 "
2700 series. 3200 "

The two main points responsible for the increase of weight between 2600 and 2700 series are the fitting of Dunlop wire wheels, of which a set of 4 exceed the weight of standard wood wheels by 44 1/2 lbs, and the fitting of double rear brakes which make an additional weight of about 54 lbs.
