87960: W/N. To Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}9/KT.4.11.31. 58-GN. We have received a memo. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} in which he states that you found the cause of the squeak in the rear axle on his car was due to the boss on the driving flange G.76370 fouling part No.G.77605. We should be glad if you would give us fuller information on this; there are several places where fouling may occur, and it may be that modifications to the axle may be necessary to prevent it recurring; on the other hand it may be due to some part being damaged by careless fitting. We should be glad to have your comments to enable us to clear the matter up satisfactorily. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} | ||
