(dict. 1.4.27.)

were necessary to supply 50% of spare parts in this way to any other component of your productions, we are certain that you would consider it to be a very grave position.

We have the pleasure of supplying quite a number of Everlastic Tubes to purchasers of Rolls-Royce vehicles, and we suggest to you that you would be more than justified in fitting Everlastics as standard and, thereby, ensuring that it was unnecessary for your clients to go to additional expense in order to secure complete immunity from road trouble.

In reference to the question of weight. Tests have been carried out with Everlastics fitted to racing cars at Brooklands, which have proved conclusively that the slight additional revolving weight has no effect upon the performance, and in touring car practice the fact of lower inflation pressures being used with Everlastic Tubes ensures better road adhesion and, consequently, less loss of power by wheel-spin, which more than counteracts the slight effect of the additional weight.

We should very much appreciate an opportunity of proving to you that our claims on behalf of Everlastics are well founded by means of a few trial sets which you might use on your Staff cars.

Yours faithfully,

ST.{Capt. P. R. Strong} HELENS CABLE AND RUBBER CO. LTD.
