Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 18th inst., which makes the question of backlash in the 25/30 HP. roller clear to us.

We should be glad if in future you could let us know when you make any alteration to the parts which you supply to us.

We have been examining the working of a pair of the latest 25/30. cams and rollers, and we find that on full lock the roller makes contact with the cam on the corners of the roller tooth faces as in the sketch below:-
