-3- Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}1/M5/3/25. The above policy would not in any way stop making 'India' chassis, testing them and fitting F.W.B. when ready, just as we are now converting 40/50HP with F.W.B, indeed it would be possible to deliver 'India' chassis to coachbuilders, but not to customers, to allow coachbuilders to get on with the body making, and we could fit F.W.B. to these chassis either at the coachbuilders, or at our Works. The cost of fitting F.W.B. to 'India' chassis at the Works would be approx £30 The cost of fitting F.W.B. at coachbuilders, including transport etc. i.e. a complete cost, would be approx £40 but much preferable for chassis to come to Works to be fitted with F.W.B. | ||
