X6011 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.6/AD. December 14th, 1931. Messrs. Bakelite Ltd. 68, Victoria St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} London, S.W.1. Dear Sirs, We are carrying out experiments with a moulded self lubricating bearing and we wonder if you have any moulding powder or filler which is specially suited for this class of work. We should also like to know if you have any preparation which you are marketing for use in making up these moulded bearings. We should be glad if you could let us have some information as soon as possible as we are experiencing difficulty at the moment with the ordinary bakelite powder owing to its very low coefficient of heat conduction. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
