Dear Mr. Sidgreaves,

With reference to our meeting at Derby yesterday, I confirm that we are getting out full detailed costs of the production bodies based on the estimate which we submitted to you at the inception of the scheme, and I hope to let you have these figures very shortly.

I also take the opportunity of confirming that you will require two more bodies - one for 3-B-5 on the lines of the two previous ones with slight modifications, and the other for 2-B-50, the latter to be of the ordinary wood and aluminium construction.

In connection with the latter, you will doubtless appreciate that the construction may have a damping effect and consequently would not truly reflect noises to the same extent. I am only mentioning this so that the setting up of a false standard may be avoided.

As soon as we get the drawings from Derby, we will have these additional bodies commenced without delay.

Yours sincerely,

(Signed) Alec T. Roberts.
