RE. RADIATOR PLATES, AND ENGINE BOOMING.
The fixing of plates on the radiators causes a certain amount of booming to take place with the engine running.
This noise is chiefly noticeable to anyone standing near the engine running fairly fast, light load.
The plates also appear to set up a certain amount of rattle. Have you had any experience of this, and are there any instructions you can issue us to how the job should be tackled to overcome this?
