BENTLEY BRAKES.

Herewith are two Standardisation Sheets for Ferodo B.Z. linings and 35° servo cams. It is intended to bring these on Production together. We have no experience of B.Z. with 45° cams.

The 35° cams C.57101/2 are now standard on 25/30.HP. therefore it is only a question of discontinuing production of the present Bentley cams.

When the new servos come on Production, in 300 more Bentley cars and 400 more 25/30.HP. cars, it is intended that the 35° cams C.57238/9 shall also be common to both cars.

As regards the B.Z. linings, we are standardising these because they are less likely to squeak than M.R., our present standard linings, but it is not intended to keep them on Production for long as we hope to standardise Ferodo M.L. if it runs satisfactorily in France.

This also applies to Phantom III.

Ferodos can supply linings with a week's notice only; therefore there is no need to order big stocks.
