Will you please let us know whether you have ever seen any 3½ or 4¼ rear axle centre cases damaged by the use of lifting jacks, having sharp prongs. Have any axles become noisy due to distortion from being jacked in this manner.?

We are enquiring this to decide whether any additional metal is required at the bottom of the casing as has been found necessary on P.3.
