1128 To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson}3/B.5.4.40. MARINE ENGINES. I mentioned to you the other day that Commander Grylls had said he would like to see a governor of some sort fitted to Marine Engines so as to prevent over-revving due to kicking of the stern in heavy seas. I communicated with the Scintilla people who I thought had produced a device, and am sending you herewith pamphlets referring to such a device and their magneto. We might conceivably fit a Vertex Magneto instead of our distributor, as I understand that these magnetos have been approved by the Admiralty. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AA.{D.
