COPY. X4117. W S C. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}3/KW19.5.32. Chassis No. 23-JS.{Mr Johnson's Secretary} Sir Harold Wernher. Cl/C11.5.32. We have been able to test this car without the rear engine feet and consider it is so much improved for booms that it would be worth while the Owner trying the car before going to the expense of diamond mounting. The reason we did not do this in the first place was owing to the fact we were under the impression that it was not the policy to let any more cars be despatched minus the rear engine feet. We have discussed this with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and he pointed out that Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car and others have run quite a long time now minus rear engine feet. Will you please instruct me whether we can despatch Sir Harold Wernher's car minus the rear engine feet. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} | ||
