REISPORT CRANKSHAFT.

In order further to raise the critical speed of the crankshaft for this engine it has suggested reducing the stroke to 3 1/2" or 3 1/4".

The corresponding engine sizes would be 2010 cc and 232 cc. We attach a table showing the approximate speeds of the torsional period under these conditions. We think that [illegible] R.P.M. would be allowed for the safe limit when a damper is fitted. As yet we do not know the effect of the supercharger.
