HIGH SPEED WOBBLES. +457 Alteration to pivot lean. We have altered the pivot lean on a car from standard to 1° forward. We found that in this condition the car still had a marked tendency to self-centre. We could detect no appreciable improvement in high speed steering wobbles from this alteration. We are trying a car with a forward pivot lean of 5°. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
