18-G-4. RADIATOR.

As instructed by SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} we send herewith N. scheme 3186. shewing the proposed modification to the bottom tank of this radiator to enable the shutter bearing plate to be dropped approximately another 1.2"

It will be seen that the bottom tank side plates and the general structure of the radiator are the same as on 18-G-4., together with the frame itself, but the shutters are lengthened by dropping the lip holding the bottom bearing plate somewhat in the manner that has been done on the ends of the existing radiator.

Presumably the construction of the bearings will be similar to the latest Phantom practice.

We understand that it is desired to have this new radiator fitted to 18-G-4. as soon as possible.
