Your Ref. .................. Our Ref. TCS/DR Dec. 21/31 W.A.Robotham Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Robotham, Thanks for your letter to hand this morning, but I am afraid it will be impossible for me to come up before Christmas. We are closing our works on Tuesday night, and I have arranged to go away for the holiday on Wednesday. If, however, it is important I will put this off and come up to see you. The question of the load on the piston in the large suction chamber is extremely interesting. This is a point which has never occurred to us before and up to the present we have not had cause to suspect that anything of this sort is happening. I am glad you are learning how to make needles. All the best for Christmas and the New Year, Yours sincerely, T.C. Skinner ENGINEERING AND ALLIED EMPLOYERS NATIONAL FEDERATION 1918 | ||
