Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/ML.3.12.40. 3.B.50. The only faults I observed on this car when I was using it last week were a very light servo judder and a noisy speedometer drive and propellor shaft vibration on a wavy road, or when the load was increased in the rear seats. This propellor shaft vibration is so unpleasant that we should alter the angle of the axle before Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has the car again. Something will have to be done about the excessive amount of front braking or an inexperienced driver will have a front wheel skid. 9.B.V. This car also suffers from slight brake pedal vibrations or incipient servo judder on certain occasions. The engine mounting also seems rather too free when the engine misfires under starting conditions, in cold weather. Both cars run after switching off. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
