RR 238 (180 BKS.) (DS 461-8-12-24) MP 306975 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. II 19 To Order No. JC 61 Customer's No. sustained PD was 151. It was then again discharged or 58.5 ampere hours were realised. The charge was then repeated as above & a further discharge realised 59.5 ampere hours. The battery was then charged again at a constant current of 6.0 amperes & when discharged realised a capacity of 56.2 ampere hours. This shows that batteries can be satisfactorily charged to this characteristic although they do not reach such a high P.D as when charged at a constant current. Signed g.J.
