Messrs Rolls Royce Limited,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. S. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Grylls.

Further to our letter of the 25th May, I enclose herewith the bushes which have been subjected to heat immersion tests in MOBILOIL HGL, and you will no doubt be interested in comparing these with the samples which have been tested in your own Laboratory.

It would seem from these tests that the light alloy which we understand you recognise as AC.l., seems to be free from any action. Some of the deposits on the bronze bushes have become detached since the parts were forwarded from our Laboratory, but no doubt these will give sufficient indication of the situation.

Yours faithfully,
VACUUM OIL COMPANY LIMITED.

O.T. Jones
Chief Engineer.
