RE THERMOSTATS.

With further reference to this subject and my letter of March. 3rd. we wish to refer again to the fitting of thermostat shutters to existing Rolls-Royce cars.

We feel sure that as soon as we produce a satisfactory device of this nature, practically every Rolls-Royce owner in the States will ask us to fit it. These will number about 650. It is therefore important that it should be produced as easily and inexpensively as possible, as otherwise it will interfere seriously with the production of cars.

We are hoping to put the oil pressure operated Galli-ator on 4.EX before it leaves. This has the feature of being regulated by engine-house temperature, but if we find this unsatisfactory we feel sure that the makers will make any alteration we may suggest for its improvement.

Yours truly,
ROLLS)ROYCE OF AMERICA, INC.
