Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,

Dear Sirs,

With reference to yours of the 11th May, we are wondering if the time is now opportune for you to continue further tests on GIRLING BRAKES.

We have now in production a 12" x 2" shoe and we have had wonderful results from same.

You would note our recent successes, and we would very much like if you could let us have an experimental chassis down here to fit up GIRLING BRAKES incorporating all our own features so that the Brake could be tested under the very best possible layout.

We can tell you quite frankly without contradiction, that in the Le Mans Race, a certain car was driven from England, went through the Race and was driven back without a single adjustment to the Brakes, and the driver stated they were absolutely perfect.

If you will only supply us with a front axle beam you can rest assured we would do everything else.

Your kind attention to this would be much appreciated.
