C Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X8410 BY/HEB{H. Biraben}2/M.24.10.27. E.A.C.14. FRONT AND REAR ROAD SPRINGS. SECS: 7020 & 7030. In accordance with Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG19.10.27, will you kindly order the following springs.- FRONT SPRINGS.- F77917 4 F.71978 Front Road Spring 1000 lbs. 4 off, with the free camber 2.100 instead of 2.600. The Camber under load with these springs will be 1.000 instead of .500. REAR SPRINGS.- F77918 2 F.10566 Rear Road Spring 1650 lbs.(1600+Wide) STIFFER Type 4 off, with the free camber altered from 1.950 to 1.400, so that the Camber under load will be 1.000 instead of .500(neg.) Instead of ordering new Springs for the Rear we consider it would be advisable to return four STIFFER Type Springs from stock of the nearest poundage to 1650. The Makers' could then alter the poundages and cambers to suit. It will be necessary to order new Springs for the Front as existing Springs cannot be altered. [STAMP: RECEIVED] BY/HEB.{H.
