STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. Description of Parts: MODIFIED STEERING FOR EXISTING 20 HP. CARS. Origin: To Improve steering. Experimental Test Report: The changeover consists of a new nut and worm fitted to an existing steering .800" lead and changing of springs in side steering tube. Road Test Report: Run 2000 miles on 11-G-111 car. This modification is similar to the .940 steering on Phantoms. It will only be used in cases of definite complaint which cannot be overcome by any other means. A 10,000 miles test is not considered necessary. Weight of Old Part.
